Description:
I was picking rocks,
All types of colours, shapes and sizes
One struck to me in particular.
It was a reconstructed rock from many stone particles.
This reminded me of the beauty of failure.
When we feel shattered by unaccomplished gains we face a sense of defeat. One we sometimes associate to our identity. When we feel thin and breakable it is often because we seek beauty in environments that do not correspond to us, creating an effect of a scattering self.
This rock represents hope as it created a new identity for itself. Showing that there is always a way to build ourselves up again. From a singular element to a compound, this rock became more complex, more unique. It confronted change to be complete.
The only failure to fear is the one where we never try.
